The lovers of open waters have an important date on the weekend of June 15th and 16th in Llançà with the celebration of the Open Water Weekend by Tintoreres. The Tintoreres of Llançà have organized a weekend with activities for swimmers and their families that will culminate on Sunday with the celebration of two crossings.
Vies Braves is the Main Partner of this weekend, which kicks off the open water season of the Costa Brava North.
The purpose of this weekend is to raise funds for the Aigua Solidaria Association that works to improve water resources in the smaller cities of India, and also for the “José Carreras Foundation” that works to achieve that leukemia is a curable disease for all and in all cases.
On Saturday morning there will be activities such as yoga and slow swimming, and in the late afternoon Vies Braves will moderate a talk with the great open water swimmer Tita Llorens. In the evening, Street Food Summer will be held in Llançà with food trucks and good music for everyone.
Finally, on Sunday, two crossings of 2KM and 4KM will be held, departing from Cala Bramant and Garbet, respectively, and arriving at the beach of Port de Llançà.
